We finance your charging stations

Flexible financing

Green Motion, a pioneer in charging technology since 2009, is also a leader in Switzerland as regards the business model of financing charging infrastructures. Since its launch in June 2016, evpass has become the largest public network in Switzerland, and currently has 922 charging stations spread over 319 municipalities. At its own expense and in a short space of time, the Green Motion company offers to equip your car parks with state-of-the-art public charging stations, which will be integrated in the evpass network.

Under a concession contract you make your car parks available to Green Motion for a period of time proportional to Green Motion’s investment, generally 5 to 10 years. Green Motion then fits the car parks out with the suitable charging stations model. During the term of concession, Green Motion will of course further develop the infrastructure in terms of both size and functionality, in line with the use and market requirements.

Green Motion gives you the choice between two business models for financing your public charging stations:

1. Total financing

Green Motion defrays all the costs incurred by the project: charging stations, the operation and maintenance of the infrastructures, electric power consumption, connection work, marking of the car parks, and taxes. Green Motion benefits from the entire revenue generated by the use of the charging stations.

2. Joint financing

Green Motion and the partner split the costs incurred by the project. Green Motion finances the charging stations, the operation and maintenance. The partner pays for the electric power consumption, connection work, marking of the car parks, and taxes. The revenue generated by the use of the charging stations is shared by the partner and Green Motion.
